Tripindi Shraddh Ritual (Three Generations Ancestral Peace)

Why is this Puja Necessary?

According to sacred texts like Dharmasindhu and Nirnayasindhu, when the annual Shraddh or Tarpana rituals for ancestors have been missed for three consecutive years, or if an ancestor's soul remains earthbound due to unfulfilled desires, a severe Pitri Dosha is formed. This ancestral affliction leads to unexplained business losses, continuous health ailments, domestic discord, and blockages in children's education or marriage. Tripindi Shraddh is designed to appease souls across all three cosmic temperaments—Satvik, Rajasik, and Tamasik—by offering three distinct consecrated Pindas under the divine grace of Brahma, Vishnu, and Rudra (Shiva).

Key Ritual Procedure:

Swasti Vachan & Prayashchitta Sankalp: Formal Vedic pledge seeking divine pardon for past omissions and praying for ancestral liberation and lineage welfare.

Lord Ganesha & Kalash Sthapana: Initial invocations of Lord Ganesha and Varuna Dev to purify the space and ensure an obstacle-free ritual.

Trinity (Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh) Invocation: Invoking the Trinity on the altar to balance and liberate the Satvik, Rajasik, and Tamasik departed energies.

Consecration of Three Distinct Pindas: Offering three specific ceremonial rice/flour balls—barley flour (Satvik), cooked rice (Rajasik), and black sesame dough (Tamasik)—with sacred mantras.

Pitri Tarpana & Sacred Chanting: Performing traditional water oblations using Gangajal, milk, Kusha grass, and black sesame seeds with specialized Vedic hymns.

Pitri Shanti Hawan: Holy fire offerings using black sesame, barley, pure cow ghee, and sacred wood to invoke peaceful transition.

Charity Sankalp, Maha Aarti & Visarjan Support: Resolving Brahmin bhojan/clothing charity, performing Maha Aarti, and offering complete eco-friendly visarjan assistance.
