Godh Bharai Sanskar
Why Choose Apna Reeti Riwaj
Product details
In Sanatan tradition, the Seemantonayan Sanskar is the 3rd of the 16 sacred rites (Shodasha Sanskaras), widely observed in regional customs as Godh Bharai. Traditionally performed during the 6th, 7th, or 8th month of pregnancy, this ritual spiritually prepares the expectant mother for safe childbirth while infusing auspicious impressions (samskaras) into the baby's developing mind.
Apna Reeti Riwaj organizes this ceremony with complete Vedic sanctity, honoring your ancestral roots and regional traditions.
Key Rituals Performed:
Swasti Vachan & Sankalp: Sacred pledge invoking divine blessings for the radiant health and longevity of both mother and child.
Ganesh-Gauri & Navagraha Pujan: Invocation of Lord Ganesha and planetary deities to eliminate hurdles and invite peace.
Dhata & Raka Vedic Invocations: Special scriptural prayers dedicated to safe pregnancy and divine protection.
Seemant Parting Ritual: The husband gently parts the wife's hair with sacred items (such as Durva and Shami twigs) accompanied by Vedic chanting to awaken mental clarity and joy.
Godh Bharai Rites: Family elders and women bless the expectant mother's lap with seasonal fruits, dry fruits, grains, and sweets.
